Tim Washburn

Hi, I'm Tim Washburn. I'm a Franchise Advisor at Franchise Sidekick. Before beginning here, I was a multi-unit franchisee for 10 years. During my time of being a franchise owner, I had the opportunity to be in involved with leadership committees and to help offer assistance to other franchisees. I’ve also been privileged to work with business owners as a consultant. That, along with my years of business ownership and corporate leadership, is what inspired me to want to help future entrepreneurs to live life on their terms. Now, I get the chance to do that by working for Franchise Sidekick, with a mission to help reduce risk when buying a franchise and assisting others to achieve their goals.

Q&A With
Tim Washburn

What do you love about franchising?

I love that franchising can simplify the process of owning a business.

What do you love about working with clients?

This is my passion. I love helping clients achieve their goals, helping them to avoid roadblocks along the way and helping to provide a path to business ownership that reduces risk.

Tell us a little about yourself!

My family is my "why". My wife Jenny has dedicated her life to improving the life of children as an elementary school teacher. Our three children, Maddie, Hunter and Aidan, give us a ton of joy. My degree was in broadcast-journalism so I find time to broadcast play x play of athletic events for my hometown high school and I enjoy playing bad rounds of golf frequently.
