Hi, I'm Reagan Clemensen, a Franchise Advisor at Franchise Sidekick. Before joining the team, I spent 11 years leading franchise development at a wellness and nutrition company. My journey in business and entrepreneurship began more than 20 years ago, and over the years, I've owned and sold businesses, helped others launch ventures, and worked closely with leaders across the franchise space.

My passion for franchising grew as I guided individuals through evaluating opportunities and helped lead growth at the brand level. Today, I use that experience to help aspiring business owners find franchise opportunities that align with their goals and interests. I’m committed to bringing honesty and integrity to every conversation—while helping clients navigate the process with confidence and minimize risk along the way.

Outside of work, I enjoy time with my wife and our four kids. Whether it’s coaching youth sports, boating at the lake, golfing, or traveling together, we love being outside.

What do you love about franchising?

What I love most about franchising is how it empowers everyday people to become business owners and live life on their own terms. It gives them a proven model, support system, and path to independence—often faster and with less risk than going it alone. Being part of that journey is incredibly exciting.

What do you love about working with clients?

My favorite part of working with clients is helping them realize that business ownership is actually possible for them. There’s something incredibly rewarding about guiding someone through uncertainty, helping them find the right fit, and watching their confidence grow as they take that first big step.

Tell us a little about yourself!

Before Sidekick I spent nearly 12 years at Profile by Sanford where I led franchise development. We grew Profile to 167 locations across the country before being acquired by a PE firm. My team was responsible for lead gen, franchise sales, candidate evaluation, site selection and approval, territory mapping, construction oversight, Confirmation Day, as well as resales, acquisitions, and closures.  Prior to joining Profile, I founded and ran a successful advertising company in Sioux Falls. The business was profitable and experienced five consecutive years of growth before I sold it to a publicly traded company. Earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of South Dakota.
