Founded by Aaron Keay, a former professional athlete, the concept was built on the belief that fitness should feel exciting, social, and immersive—not repetitive or intimidating. Each studio combines functional training with an entertainment-first approach, featuring live DJ-driven music, immersive lighting, and dynamic programming that keeps members fully engaged. With over 3,000 exercises and 100+ unique workouts rooted in proven formats like HIIT, Strength, and Cardio, members never experience the same workout twice. This depth of programming, paired with a vibrant and inclusive culture, has positioned Kommunity Fitness as a standout brand in the boutique fitness space—designed for today’s experience-driven consumer. Building on this strong foundation, Kommunity has added seasoned executive leadership to support its next phase of growth. The company recently appointed Mike Gray as President and Chief Operating Officer to lead its U.S. expansion and franchise platform development. Gray brings nearly three decades of experience scaling premium fitness brands, including serving as President of Club Pilates, where he helped grow the brand from approximately 126 locations to over 1,000 worldwide. Most recently, he was President and COO of Riser Fitness, one of the largest boutique fitness franchise operators, where he oversaw multi-market expansion across the U.S. and supported international growth initiatives. Together, Aaron’s vision and brand-building expertise, combined with Mike’s deep operational and franchising experience, position Kommunity Fitness for disciplined, high-growth expansion.
