I specialize exclusively in FDD legal reviews. Over the past 2.5 years, I have personally reviewed nearly 500 Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and Franchise Agreements, giving me exposure to franchise systems across virtually every industry, size, and stage of growth. My experience includes drafting FDDs and Franchise Agreements, serving as General Counsel for franchise systems, and explaining and enforcing franchise agreements in mediations, arbitrations, and state and federal courts. Having worked on the franchisor side while also advising franchise buyers—from first-time owners to sophisticated multi-unit operators—I bring a unique perspective to every review. My goal is to help clients identify potential risks, ask the right questions, and make informed investment decisions before moving forward with a franchise.
